Our Story

Since 1996, Doug’s Hardwood Flooring, Inc. has been refinishing floors, installing flooring & repairing flooring in Grand Rapids, MI. Finding a good hardwood floor installer can be difficult. Most are small one to two person companies like Doug’s, which makes them in high demand. When Doug first started in the business he worked for another small company and learned from the floor up; so to speak. He saw a need for a good hardwood installation and repair company in the Grand Rapids Area. Eventually he moved to Grand Rapids and opened Doug’s Hardwood Flooring.

Our services include hardwood floor installations, wood floor refinishing and wood floor repair. Even though we are a small family run company this is by no means a reflection on the size of the flooring projects we work on. No job is too big or too small. We install floors in residential homes, including many Heritage Hill homes as well as condos and other residential homes all over the GR area. Our commercial and industrial wood floor projects have included The BrassWorks Building, the popular Monte’s Lounge as well as other stores and professional offices.
